Dr Hye Jin Kwon

Dr Kwon completed her medical degree at the University of Melbourne and a Master of Medicine (Ophthalmic Science) at the University of Sydney, followed by specialist endocrinology training at St Vincent's Hospital Melbourne, Austin Health, Northern Health and Monash Health. She is actively involved in research and medical education, with multiple peer-reviewed publications and national and international presentations — a finalist for the Young Investigator Award at the Australian Diabetes Congress, and a recipient of the Best Oral Presentation and Senior Medical Staff Association Awards during St Vincent's Hospital Research Week (2023).

Dedicated to patient education and evidence-based care delivered supportively, her clinical interests include type 1 and type 2 diabetes (including diabetes technology), diabetes in pregnancy, weight management, osteoporosis, and thyroid, adrenal, parathyroid and pituitary disorders. She welcomes referrals for all aspects of adult endocrinology and diabetes.

Dr Yao is a specialist endocrinologist based in Melbourne, committed to holistic, patient-centred care — empowering patients and developing personalised treatment plans collaboratively. He completed his medical degree at the University of Melbourne, followed by specialist endocrinology training across Royal Melbourne Hospital, Austin Hospital and Monash Health.

His clinical interests span all aspects of endocrinology: type 1 and type 2 diabetes, weight control, lipid disorders, thyroid disorders, osteoporosis, men's health, women's health, obstetric endocrine disorders, and adrenal and pituitary disorders. He is a member of the Royal Australian College of Physicians, the Australian Diabetes Society, and the Endocrine Society of Australia.

Dr Munnings completed his medical degree at the University of Melbourne, followed by physician training in Melbourne and advanced endocrinology training in Melbourne and Tasmania, gaining experience across a wide range of endocrine disorders. He has published research in peer-reviewed journals and presented at national conferences, and is a member of the Endocrine Society of Australia, the Australian Diabetes Society, the American Thyroid Association, and the Endocrine Society (USA).

He values clear communication and collaborative decision-making, and welcomes referrals across all areas of adult endocrinology — with particular interests in thyroid and parathyroid disease, adrenal disorders, men's health, metabolic bone disease (including osteoporosis), and diabetes technology.

Selina is a Registered Nurse and Credentialled Diabetes Educator (CDE) with experience in both paediatric and adult diabetes care. She has worked in diabetes education since 2017 and currently practises at Monash Children's Hospital and Monash Health. She specialises in supporting individuals with pre-diabetes, type 1, type 2 and gestational diabetes, including complex care.

She has a particular interest in diabetes technology, offering expert guidance in insulin pump therapy and continuous glucose monitoring (CGM). Committed to personalised, practical and evidence-based care, she is currently undertaking a Master of Nursing (Nurse Practitioner) at the University of Melbourne.
