New Patients

A few simple steps help us make the most of your first appointment. Here's what to bring, how to get seen, what to expect with fees, and how to find us.

How it works

Three steps to your first visit

From referral to appointment — clear and simple.

Get a GP referral

Ask your GP for a referral to Ringwood Specialist Group — it's required for specialist care under Medicare.

Book your appointment

Request a time online or call our reception. We aim to see new patients within 1–2 weeks.

Come prepared

Bring your referral, recent results and medication list so we can focus on your care from the start.

Before your appointment

Recent blood test results

Any recent pathology results relevant to your condition.

A list of your current medications

Include doses where you can, plus any supplements.

CGM or glucose records

If applicable — bring your device, app or logbook readings.
